The Tamworth head coach strongly suggested to the Line Judge that the player was celebrating as he entered the endzone and wanted a flag. Despite attempts by the Line Judge to explain or discuss the play, the coach then made remarks to the official which drew an unsportsmanlike foul. Changing rooms some distance from the field and not lockable. In the third quarter, the game was suspended for approximately five minutes to fill in a very deep hole that was discovered. Two small changing rooms provided. These were not lockable but did contain lockers that could be utilised. The crew completed pregame in the changing room foyer as it allowed more space. Gateshead Senators | 90-yard field with ten-yard end zones. The goal posts were moveable rugby goalposts and, due to the uneven surface at one end, leant to the side. This was not an issue for either of the teams, so the games were played in both directions. No nine-yard markings or numbers. Lincolnshire Bombers | Very well marked out field, as usual. These were the best game facilities we, as a crew, have used. Changing rooms were locked as we went to the field. There were quite a few injury stoppages for Lincolnshire, one of which resulted in a player being carried to the sideline and subsequently taken to hospital. Team areas marked to the 25 yard lines. Both goal posts overhung the end zone in bounds. The officials changing room is small for a crew of 5. At the end of half time, with the agreement of both head coaches and the Referee, the 3rd and 4th quarters were shortened to zero minutes under Rule 3-2-2-a. New this week | Play: Team A 4th and 30 and the A-20 yard line. Team A line up in a scrimmage kick formation and punt the ball. The balls travels 15 yards beyond the line of scrimmage where B38 is positioned to catch the kick. B38 muffs the ball and gunner A85 dives on the loose ball and recovers it at the A-35 yard line. Which team will snap the ball next, what is the next down & distance. What is the status of the play clock and game clock?

Last week | Play: Team A have 1st and 10 at Midfield. Defensive End B98 is offside at the snap. Running back A34 carries the ball to the B-44 yard line. Immediately after the play B72 shoves an opponent in an act that is clearly not part of the game action.

Answer: It should only be used when contact that would have been pass interference occurs on a pass that is uncatchable (M11.4.12, M12.4.13, M13.4.11, M14.4.13, M15.4.12). It should not be used when the pass was uncatchble but any contact was not pass interference. |
