BAFRA Annual Convention – Sat 2nd and Sun 3rd April 2016
The Convention is now just a few days away. All the preparation work is done and all we need to do now is turn up and make the most of the weekend. 109 members have registered to attend.
Welcome Desk
The Welcome Desk will be open between 9:00am - 9:25am on the Saturday morning and will be located in the main reception area.
A few things will happen when you arrive at the Welcome Desk. Firstly, you will need to sign-in and then pick up your Convention Pack. This will contain the following items:
You will then be shown to the Main Convention Hall where Tea and Coffee will be available. We have quite a lot to get through during the day so I would ask that everyone makes the effort to be there as early as possible. We will start at 9:30am prompt and the Welcome Desks will close at 9:25am prompt.

Rooms will be available from 2:00pm on your day of arrival. We will probably have a room available
where bags can be stored until you check-in. I will arrive at the Conference Centre around 11:00am on the
Friday. If you have any problems, please let me know. Directions can be found at:

If you wish to pre-submit any questions you wish the directors to answer or if you are unable to attend and wish to submit your apologies, please ensure I receive these no later than Friday, 1st April at 5:00pm.

2016 Exam
This will be available in the member’s area of the website from after the AGM on Saturday. All qualified members must attempt the exam, the closing date for which is 7th May at 5:00pm. In addition, all other members, especially associate members, are strongly encouraged to attempt the exam, as it provides a good measure of your development and future training requirements. Your answers may be returned either by post or electronically, whichever you prefer and all will be acknowledged when received. The instructions for return are on the rubric accompanying the exam. If you have any queries, a special e-mail address, exam2016@bafra.org has been set up and will remain live throughout the exam period. Alternatively, the rubric also contains phone numbers of Exam Committee members you can contact with your queries.
