Job
Responsibilities
  1. Ensure satisfactory running of BAFRA's training programmes. This includes events such as the Convention, the Elite Programme Clinic and the regional meetings, though the organisation of particular events can be delegated to others.
  2. Ensure, with the Director of Recruitment, that rookies are trained
  3. Respond as the first line of contact for people with complaints about standards of officiating
  4. Involvement in the specification and development of officiating qualifications.
  5. Assist the other directors in making policy and other decisions about all aspects of BAFRA's work.
Desirable skills and experience
  1. Qualified official (mandatory to be a director of BAFRA)
  2. Leadership and management skills
  3. Strong inter-personal skills
  4. Ideally good rules and mechanics knowledge
  5. Team player able to work in partnership with others
