Week 5 Update
Just over a week to go to the annual convention we have a milestone to celebrate – 100 members and overseas visitors registered. This is the third year in a row we have met this target. If you are not listed, it may be because you have confirmed your place in the last couple of days. Please check that your payment has been processed by your bank or if paying by cheque that it has been delivered.

Late registration
Registration has now closed however if you have only just joined BAFRA or your weekend has become free last minute we may be able to accommodate your request. To make a request please send an email marked URGENT to Sean Welsh at convention@bafra.info at your earliest opportunity. The convention delivery team will be making up personalised Convention Packs, Presentation handouts, Game Film DVD, Programme of Events, Game Day Paperwork, etc. As such you do need to pre-register.
Accommodation
The rates indicated are per room are Twin Room/Single Room: £40.00 per night (So if you share with someone it will only cost you £20.00 per night. Urgent, to take advantage of the above rates you must book your room with Sean at convention@bafra.info.
Rooms will be available from 2:00pm on your day of arrival. There will be a room available where bags can be stored until you check-in. There will be members of the convention delivery team on hand from early afternoon on Friday 31 st March. If you have any problems, please let us know.
Location and journey planning
The Convention will be held at Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre, Yarnfield Lane, Yarnfield, Staffordshire, ST15 0NL. Yarnfield Park is a leading Training and Conference centre in the heart of the UK. Please look over the facility on their website where you can also find details of the location and directions via road and rail. www.yarnfieldpark.com
Welcome Desk
The Welcome Desk will be open between 9:00am - 9:25am on Saturday 1 st April and will be located in the main reception area. A few things will happen when you arrive at the Welcome Desk. Firstly, you will need to sign-in and then pick up your Convention Pack. This will contain the following items:
You will also have the opportunity to purchase prize draw tickets. As usual we have collected a fun selection of merchandise and gifts. You will then be shown to the Main Convention Hall where Tea and Coffee will be available.
We have quite a lot to get through during the day so I would ask that everyone makes the effort to be there as early as possible. We will start at 9:30am prompt and the Welcome Desks will close at 9:25am prompt.

Dunfermline Kings | On arrival the officials were presented with a clear field with no American football marking on it at all. After informing game management of the minimum requirements to get the game played we were informed that pitch was not going to get lined. Carlisle Sentinels | The away team contacted operations to inform them the game was called off after the crew had set off for the game. Walney Terriers | A pitch inspection was conducted preface and in the words of Doc Roberts once you got through the water it was firm underneath so the game was given the go ahead.
