Dean is on holiday this week so we have a very much shortened Newsflash.

BAFRA ANNUAL CONVENTION – SAT 2ND AND SUN 3RD APRIL 2016


Final Registrations


Only 1 week to go now till the main event of our year. We now have 109 people attending. It's going to be a busy weekend.

Friday night is becoming busier and at present we have 81 people staying overnight

I will issue a Newsflash on Tuesday with all the usual information on the Convention If anyone has any specific queries, please email convention@bafra.org.

AGM


If you have any questions you wish the directors to answer, it is helpful if you submit these to me in advance, in particular if you require a detailed answer or one that requires research. This does not, however, in any way remove you right to ask an unannounced question on the day.

If you are unable to attend and notify me, I will ensure that your apologies are presented to the meeting.

A final reminder that if you are a qualified member and unable to attend, you may appoint a proxy to vote in your place. Papers for this have already been circulated to qualified members. If you have any queries about this please either contact the returning officer on returning@bafra.org or myself. These must be with the Returning Officer by 5:00pm on Saturday 26th March 2016.

Policies and Procedures


There have been updates to some policies and procedures. There have been significant changes to the Game Day Administration Procedure to reflect the moves towards electronic game day reporting and electronic payments and minor changes to the Annex to Terms and Conditions to reflect some pre- announced crew size changes. In addition, there is a new policy on Officiating whilst Pregnant. Members should be familiar with all of BAFRA's Policies and Procedures, a full list of which may be found here: http://www.bafra.org/info/handbook/policy/index.htm

This list has been updated to reflect some additional information and to take account of the Bowl Crew from the BUCS final last weekend. There are, however, still a number of gaps in the information.
